National Center for School Mental Health Conference
Hello Trainers,
Last Fall, we shared information with you about the element of your Trainer Affiliation Agreement that asks that you present about LSCI at a local, regional, or national conference annually, in order to grow awareness of LSCI around the world. One of our Trainers recently shared this upcoming opportunity to present at the National School Mental Health Conference. We’d like to encourage any/all interested Trainers to send a proposal to present on LSCI at this event.
This document provides a list of additional professional organizations we have identified as having members and conference attendees who would be especially interested in LSCI and open to adopting its trauma-informed, relationship-building strategies.
We would like to ask you to apply to present about LSCI at a conference event held by any of the organizations on this list. If your proposal is accepted and you are invited to present on LSCI, we would be happy to share the Conference registration and other related fees with you. Knowing that your conference presentation could drive LSCI training opportunities directly to you/your organization and that anytime new people learn about LSCI, we all benefit, we consider this a win-win proposition.
Please look over the list and apply to present at one or more of the organizations. If you have other organizations that you think we should add to the list, please email Signe.
You can apply to present using any of LSCI’s currently available programs, including the LSCI Overview, the Conflict Cycle Paradigm, The Angry Smile, or Parenting the Challenging Child (each available as 2-hour workshops), or we can work with you to approve a 60 or 90-min version of an LSCI Overview to better meet conference time frames.
If your application to present is accepted, please let Signe & Wendy know right away. We will work with you to deterine how to best and most fairly provide financialsupport of your presentation.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Signe
