LSCI is trauma-informed care in action! Alex Cameron, Director of Clinical Services, Pressley Ridge

Hello LSCI Trainers,

We are excited to share some wonderful news with all of you regarding a familiar and highly respected member of our LSCI community, Mark Freado.

Mark has accepted a new leadership position with the LSCI Institute as our Director of Organizational Development and Training. As many of you know, Mark is a long-tenured Trainer whose commitment to the LSCI model and dedication to supporting children and professionals has made an indelible impact throughout our network.

In this new role, Mark will help lead the ongoing growth, quality, and consistency of the LSCI training network. His work will include supporting trainer recruitment and development, mentoring trainer candidates and new Senior Trainers, strengthening quality assurance practices, and helping ensure fidelity to the LSCI model across our organization. He will also play a key role in expanding the Institute’s reach through professional presentations, conferences, and partnerships.

We are incredibly excited to have Mark step into this role at such an important time for the Institute. His experience, professionalism, and relationship-centered approach make him uniquely suited to help us continue growing while maintaining the high standards and strong sense of community that define LSCI.

Over the next few weeks, Mark will begin reaching out to trainers throughout the network as part of our ongoing quality assurance and professional growth efforts. These conversations and observations are intended to provide support, coaching, feedback, and opportunities for continued learning and collaboration across our trainer community.

Please join us in congratulating Mark on this exciting new chapter. We are grateful for his leadership and look forward to the many ways he will continue strengthening and supporting the LSCI Institute and all of you.

Warmly,
Ginger
