Parkland School District Teaching Assistant Shares Impact of LSCI Training

There’s no way I could be a teaching assistant and do the job I am supposed to do without the training I am receiving from LSCI. I am so grateful I now have the steps to the proper education I need to be the most effective in reaching and helping students reach their full potential academically and emotionally.

I am reminded to always be calm and considerate of any student in crisis. Within the last 5 months since taking LSCI, I have been able to reach students and build relationships I would not have been able to do before LSCI training. I did my job before and would sometimes avoid a situation because I wasn’t sure I would do the right thing to help, but now I do it successfully when helping children in crisis. I am successful in all attempts when using LSCI and couldn’t be more grateful to see a child learn to manage their anger correctly.
